John J. Donohoe

ELECTRICIAN/IBEW 2067 UNION STEWARD SASKPOWER BOUNDARY DAM/CCS FACILITY

John grew up upon a dairy farm in Manitoba, got his red seal electrician certificate 22+ years ago.  John has been on numerous large industrial sites all over the prairie provinces. He decided to settle down in this community for his family, landing a job at BDPS.  He works alongside his coworkers keeping the lights on for this community and the province.  He has seen the stresses that this hard close on coal powered facilities is doing to the workers at the power plants, mines, and the community.  John also sits on the board at the workers coal transition centre, “We all must work together towards keeping Estevan a thriving community”.
